So why aren't gaming looked up to the same way books and movies are? Well cos there is nothing documentative about it. It's mostly (fully) fantasy.
Gamers admire games for graphics and the narrative but for an outsider, it offers nothing other than entertainment.
Of course, it's possible to use gaming for more immersive purposes like a classroom environment. But hey think of the kinda education system we have in India! They might use games to improve typing skills of students. Nothing more!
The "videogame technology" -- the way describe it -- is nothing but artificial intelligence. What else would you call a simulation environment which throws challeneges at you dynamically depending on in-game decisions... So I think "gaming tech" is being used in other fields its just that they are called "artificial intelligence."| Balu |http://gamebashing.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2579273196566028677.post-50997313169546376592009-03-20T00:04:00.000-07:002009-03-20T00:04:00.000-07:00You forgot to add another general use of gaming!!!...You forgot to add another general use of gaming!!!!
